This is a way to quick databae connect and run sql commands.
Lets'assume you have this file (it may contain any correct sql commands or procedures):


To connect a run the command from unix prompt, run sqlplus in silent mode (sqlplus -s ) and execute the sql file using using the minus char (<):

Ok, now you do not want any spool screen, you want the results in a log file, so deviate the output to a file:
